Susan Eckert
President
Susan Eckert retired from the practice of law after more than thirty years serving as a labor and employment enforcement attorney, hearing officer, and private practice attorney representing employees, labor unions, and environmental groups. She and her husband continue to run an environmental, health, and safety training and consulting business. In her spare time, Susan loves to hike, bike, and practice yoga; learn romance languages for her world travels; and spend time with her family and dogs. She and her family are also committed international soccer fans.Susan has been an avid reader her whole life and especially enjoys historical fiction and women's literature, including anything by Isabel Allende, Jane Austen, and Ann Patchett. Live theater and Shakespeare rank high in her interests as well. She i is excited to serve on the BookGive Board to help share the gift of books with all of Colorado's diverse communities and neighborhoods.
