Electra The Book Mobile
Electra is BookGive's all-electric bookmobile, a Ford Transit van purchased in 2023 by founder Nicole Sullivan to replace the aging previous vehicle, Mavis.
It serves to broaden the organization's reach throughout the Denver Metro area.
Electra appears on a monthly basis at partner organization events, festivals, farmers' markets, and off-site community initiatives to support the mission of distributing free books.
Electra is far more than a vehicle; it is a powerful tool for equity, actively advancing the belief that literacy is a basic human right by delivering the joy of book ownership straight to the doorsteps of children and families across the metro region.
