Stacy Bruss of All-Out Multicourse Productions (All-Out) first learned about BookGive a year ago, when a BookGive volunteer and fellow runner suggested the nonprofit as a benefiting charity for one of its events.

All-Out, which hosts ten running events during the year, designates a benefiting charity that runners can support upon registration. All-Out matches 100% of all donations.

This year, BookGive is the benefiting charity for All-Out Fall Fest, an All-Out event which will host an 80s-themed run taking place at Big Dry Creek Trail in Westminster, Colorado on Saturday, September 19, 2026

“Literacy advocacy and book accessibility have been values I’ve believed in since I was young,” Stacy shares. “Reading is fundamental to everyone.”

All-Out will also host a book drive during Fall Fest, where runners are encouraged to bring new and gently used books to donate to BookGive in support of its mission.

“This is our first event with All-Out, but we’ve already seen tremendous traction in the form of donations and awareness of our work as a result of the partnership,” says Executive Director of BookGive, Kristi Wimbish. “Stacy and her team are some of our work’s biggest champions, and we’re incredibly grateful for all they’re doing to shed light on our mission and impact in the Denver region.”

For Stacy, reading is a crucial part of lifelong learning. Her leadership at All-Out is continuing to bring attention to BookGive in other meaningful ways – including through her connections in the community.

“Our partnership with All-Out resulted in yet another partnership with The Milkshake Factory in Arvada, where we’ll hold a fundraiser next month,” says Kristi. “The fundraising opportunities we’re receiving thanks to Stacy’s interest in our work continues to drive our daily operations and fuel metro Denver with a lifelong passion for literacy.”

Join All-Out and BookGive this year at Fall Fest on Saturday, September 19 by registering to run or walk in one of this year’s races here. If you’d like to walk the 5K as part of the BookGive team, email Kristi Wimbish at kristi@bookgivedenver.org after you register.

Details about where the group will meet will be sent a few days before the race, and participants in the group walk will receive a totally tubular 80s style headband!
